Mr. Thompson has a number of lights on his building to deter vandalism and/or theft. For a period of approximately eight weeks each fall, we have asked Mr. Thompson to keep those lights off as the light from them would be harmful to the initiation process of our poinsettia crop. Mr. Thompson has always complied with our request, however, during that time his property is vulnerable. I understand that Mr. Thompson is requesting from the town permission for a mobile home to house a night watchman. We would have absolutely no objection to his having that mobile home as it would in some ways also be beneficial to us as our properties are adjacent to one another, and we personally have had vandalism problems in the past.
