Dickerson P.O.Box 1179 Southold, New York 11971-0959 Dave Bergen • O Telephone (631) 765-1892 Bob Ghosiq Jr. 'Q ~ Fax (031) 765-6641 ~~~OlINT1,~~ BOARD OF TOWN TRUSTEES TOWN OF SOUTHOLD September 19, 2007 Mr. Peter Drouzas 25-66 12`h St., PH4 Astoria, NY 11102 RE: 54120 COUNTY RD. 48, SOUTHOLD SCTM#52-2-20.1 Dear Mr. Drouzas: The following action was taken by the Southold Town Board of Trustees at their Regular Meeting held on Wed., September 19, 2007: WHEREAS, PETER DROUZAS applied to the Southold Town Trustees for an Amendment to Wetland Permit #6386 under the provisions of Chapter 275 of the Southold Town Code, the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated June 20, 2007, and, WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council and to the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program Coordinator for their findings and recommendations, and, WHEREAS, the LWRP Coordinator recommended that the proposed application be found Inconsistent with the LWRP, and, WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees has furthered Policy 6 of the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program to the greatest extent practical through the imposition of the following Best Management Practice requirement: the installation of an additional drywell to contain all run-off from a 2" rainfall, and, WHEREAS, the structure complies with the standards set forth in Chapter 275 of the Southold Town Code, z WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the people of the town, NOW THEREFORE BE IT, RESOLVED, that for the mitigating factors and based upon the Best Management Practice requirement imposed above, the Board of Trustees deems the action to be Consistent with the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program pursuant to Chapter 268-5 of the Southold Town Code, and, RESOLVED, that the Southold Town Board of Trustees APPROVE the Amendment to Wetland Permit #6386 to include 148.3 cy. of fill along the southwest corner of the property with the condition an additional drywell is installed at the bottom of the hill to contain all run-off from a 2" rainfall, and as depicted on the plans prepared by Zambrano Architectural Design, LLC last revised September 17, 2007.
