Costello: The ~oard of Town Trustees took the following action during its regular meeting held on Wed.i June 21, 2006 regarding the above matter: WH~EAS, Costello Marine Contracting Corp. on behalf of GARDINER'S BAY EST TES HOMEOWNERS ASSOC. applied to the Southold Town Trustees for a permi under the provisions of Chapter 97 of the Southold Town Code, the Wetland Ordin~nce of the Town of Southold, application dated May 24,2006, and, WHE~EAS, said application was referred to the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Coun~il and to the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program Coordinator for their findings and r,commendations, and, WHEtEAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect to said appli ation on June 21,2006, at which time all interested persons were given an oppo unity to be heard, and, WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are familiar with the premibes in question and the surrounding area, and, WHE~EAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation submitted , conc~rning this application, and, 2 . . WHEREAS, the structure complies with the standards set forth in Chapter 97 of the Southold Town Code, WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the people of the town, NOW THEREFORE BE IT, RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees approve the application of GARDINER'S SAY ESTATES HOMEOWNERS ASSOC. to remove the existing 4'X 30' fixed dock, (4) 3'X 20' a~d (1) 5'X 18' floating docks and (2) existing pilings. Construct a 4'X 12' ramp onto a ne 4'X 30' fixed dock with a new 42"X 12' ramp onto re-installed (4) 3'X 20' and (1) 5'X 1 'floating docks. Install (1) 5'X 32' and (2) 6'X 20' new floating docks. Re-install (2) existi~g pilings and install (2) new pilings, and all as depicted on the plans prepared by Costello Marine Contracting Corp. dated April 25, 2006. Pernlit to construct and complete project will expire two years from the date the permit is si9red. Fees must be paid, if applicable, and permit issued within six months of the date pf this notification. Inspdctions are required at a fee of $50.00 per inspection. (See attached schedule.) Based upon the information provided on the L WRP Consistency Assessment Form submjitted to this department, as well as the records available to me, it is my recommendation that t~e proposed action is generally CONSISTENT with the Policy Standards and therefore is CON~ISTENT with the L WRP provided that the following standard best management practices are implemented to further the intent ofthe L WRP Policies 5, 6, and 8.
