Box 1179, 53095 Main Road Southold,NY 11971 Dear Melissa: In connection with my recent discussion with the Planning Board concerning a sixteen acre site on Bergen Avenue I submit herewith a revised plan. This plan reduces the proposed curb cuts from four to two and increases the acreage to be devoted to agricultural production from four acres to 4.80 acres. I believe that these changes improve the proposed design, that this design is probably the highest and best plan which could be developed for the property, and that it is compatible with my current development nearby. There is in the area an increasing interest from people who wish to maintain horses, and I believe that this plan would be attractive to such individuals. I hope that the Planning Board will grant preliminary approval of this plan. I must stress again that I do not at this time control the property and may not be able to do SO. The Department received an application and it is incomplete. The Health Department has received a subdivision application and is awaiting test hole results prior to further processing. The project appears to conform the S. C. Article 6 in regard to lot size The application must demonstrate that the parcel is underlain by naturally occuring potable water supply. Because there have been no correspondence from the NYS DEC received in the alotted time, it is assumed that there are no comments or objections from that agency.
