Dear Mr. Raynor:
We are in receipt of the two above referenced set-offs. Unfortunately
these referrals cannot be reviewed by the Suffolk County Planning Commission
pursuant to Section 1333, Suffolk County Charter, because of noncompliance with
the requirements of notice.
Any proposed subdivision of land into two or more parcels of land, including
set-offs, must meet the requirements of notice given in Informational Bulletin
No. 8; specifically pages 2-9 to 2-14, inclusive. Enclosed is a copy of said
pages for your convenience. If you will make a comparison of the requirements
with the maps for the set-offs you will find that the set-off maps do not have
all of the information required by the Commission.
Should you have any questions about the Commission's requirements for a sub-
division referral please do not hesitate to contact me.

: The enclosed maps (three copies) are being referred to
you for review by the Planning Commission for a set-off of
property 106-13. This was approved by our Board subject to
consideration of the Commission's recommendations.
The applicant has stated the portion to be set-off will
be sold to the adjoining property owner (Rust) thus increasing
the size of their present lot. The applicant advised our
Board that the cottage will never be utilized for dwelling
purposes; it will be used for boat storage.
We hope you find this map acceptable for review, as this
is all we require from the applicant for a set-off of property.
A covering letter from the applicant and a copy of our resolu-
tion have been enclosed for your review.
