E. to the Southold Town Planning Board, Edward Bucholz of Riverhead Cement Block Co., Inc., and I inspected the roads at Sunset Knolls, Section 2. The comments to the various numbered para- graphs are: (1) The valley gutter across Stanley Road has not been constructed. At the southeast terminus of the curb on Dogwood Lane southerly of Stanley Road the curb is lower than curb on northerly side of Stanley Road. Messrs. Corazzini were working at the site and stated it was their responsibility to construct valley gutters. This valley gutter and the one referred to in Paragraph 3 were physically pointed out to Messrs. Cor~zzini. The approved plans did not provide for a catch basin and leaching pool to be constructed on the northerly side of Stanley Road opposite to Dogwood Lane. (2) The catch basins and leaching pools at the southerly terminus of Dogwood Lane have been installed. (3) The valley gutter has not been constructed and as set forth in Paragraph 1, the valley gutter will be constructed by Messrs. Corazzini. The comment that existing drainage system does not seem to be adequate may be correct, but the approved plans, which were revised from the prelimi- nary in accordance with recommendations of Lawrence Tuthill, P. At i6he north side of the intiersection of Stanley lA~ad and Dogwoa3, there is a puddle of water after a rain storm. P,ccoxriir~g to the plans submittdd to the nlanring boarH, there should be a valley gutter across Stanley Road at t'-is point. this has not been done and the curbing at th'_s mint is lower than on the south side of the street. A catch basin an3 leaching basin should 'oe placed zt this ^oint. 2, the catch basins and leaching basins at the south em3 of Dogwoa3 road have been omitted. These should be installed. 3• At the intersection of Sunset Hrive and Dai_se,y ?oai, the existing drainage system does not seem to be sufficient. The valley Butter at the east side cf i?:e -ntersect~on has bean omitted. Irecommenl a catch basin and leach basin be built at this intersection on the north-east corner. 1a. It was also noted that at the entrance to Stanley Drive ir, Section i of sunset Knolls that the new property owner on the north side of the road has extended his lawn out in road, which has caused a large puddla to form on the east side.
