',Touthold Town - - -.P~'=~mn!r:g Beard SOUTHOLD TOWN ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW COMMITTEE August 12, 1999, 4:30 P.M. The ARC met at Town Hall, Members present were: Robert I. Brown, Co-Chairman Garrett A. Strang, Co-Chairman Robert W. Keith, Secretary, Mattituck Sanford Hanauer, Mattituck Herbert Ernst, Southold John B. Greene, Landmark Preservation Committee Southold Town Planning Board MATTITUCK LAUREL LIBRARY (Formal Submission) An architect from the firm of' Beatty, Harvey and Associates who had volunteered to attend the meeting did not appear. Also the revised plans which were believed to be in Town Hall could not be located. In a telephone conversation with Rob Brown, the architect did indicate that the brick, siding, window style and trim as well as its color would be a match with the existing structure. CHURCH OF THE TRANSFIGURATION (Formal Submission - Mattituck) The items requesed at the Committee's meeting of June 8 hve not been received SANDRA PERRY PHYSICAL THERAPY OFFICE (Southold) Moved by Garrett Strang and seconded by John Greene. it was RESOLVED to TABLE the application awaiting information requested routinely on the Committee's checklist as well as an indication of new and existing construction on the plans. The committee will not be in favor of a flat roof The Planrfing Board is asked to note that no handicap accessability has been provided to the second floor and that the plans for a commercial venture apparently have not been signed by an architiect nor an engineer. Vote of the Committee: Ayes all. The Committee recommends that Robert G. Kassner, our coordinator, attend Committee meetings.
