Dear Henry:
More than three years have passed since correspondence began with
respect to the petition of Richard Walsh for a change of zone on property
west of Cox Lane, Cutchogue. Whereas, there has been no response to
my correspondence to you, the make up of the Town Board has changed
twice, and the petition precedes the enactment of the new amendments to
the Zoning Code and Zoning Map, I consider this petition to have been
abandoned by the applicant. (Copies of prior correspondence enclosed.)

Change of Zone Petition No. 271
Gentlemen:
On May 8. 1986 I transmitted the petition of Richard Wals requesting
a change of zone from "A" Residential and Agricultural District to "B-1"
General Business District on certain property located on the northerly side
of Main Road. west of Cox's Lane, Cutchogue. and requested an official
report and the Board's recommendations.
On May 20.1986 you responded that you wished to hold any recommenda-
tion on this' proposal until the Master Plan is presented to the Town Board
as a whole.
Inasmuch as the Master Plan has been presented to the Town Board as
a whole, and we are now in the SEQR process. I would again ask the Planning
Board to prepare an official report defining the conditions described in said
petition and determine the area so affected by your recommendation and trans-
mit the same to me. Thank you.

uses.
2. Property zoning is residential, not compatible with remainder
of "B" zoning in subdivision that this is a part of.
3. B-1 zoned already runs through part of property.
4. As owner of lot #3 of this subdivision, we would continue
a business use for professional and office space on this parcel.
5. In the event that the zoning map is changed, we would covenant
to restrict property to LBO zoning.

Please be advised that on behalf of Anne Olsen, I am writing this letter to
inform you that I oppose the change of zone of the subject premises from
residential to B-1, if the access to said premises is to be over the right
of way over properties of Anne Olsen to the Main Road. If said right of way
is to be extinguished so that the access would be over other properties of
Richard Walsh, and not over property of Anne Olsen, I would have no objection
to the application.
I have been advised by Henry Raynor, as agent for Richard Walsh, that his
client intends to extinguish the right of way over properties owned by Anne
Olsen so that access to the subject premises would be strictly over other
properties of Richard Walsh.
I would request that you send me a copy of the notice when this matter is
scheduled for a public hearing.
