The following resolution was passed by the Southold Town
Planning Board, Monday, October 18, 1982.
RESOLVED that the Southold Town Planning Board approve a
set-off (106-13) as designated on the map of William and
Joan Keinathr located at Mattituck, dated July 22, 1982
and amended September 21r 1982 in which the 25' strip
being set off will be merged with the adjoining property
to the east.
Prior to the Chairman endorsing approval on the above maps,
completion of the State Environmental Quality Review Act is
required.

The undersigned petitioners respectfully request that they be
given permission to proceed according to the provisions outlined
under Article 106 Section lJ, Town,od Southold, N.Y., pertaining
t 0 set off of lot line between-two parcels of land abutting and
joint ly held by petitioners.
The reason for this request is we the petit ioners, find it nec-
essary to sell the East parcel, to be known as Parcell, and re-
duce the side yard of Parcell by 25' and add said 25' on to the
abutting and jointly held West parcel, hereafter known as Par6eL 2,
because the Parcel 1 property line is just feet from our front door
and thus affords us no privacy and most important, the 25' in quest~
ion, has trees and shrubs we have planted, forminga green belt
effect. Therefore, it is requested that the present lot line on,
Parcell be set back 25' and added on to Parcel 2 in order to pro-
tect and preserve the character of the land as it is now and afford
petit ioners the privacy we need.

Plasse note also, that if the 25' set off is approved, the area
on the West side of Paroel 1 is still greater then the area on
the East side fo the Cottage, whioh means that in no way would
the oharaoter of the area be changed from its present status and
in faot would guarantee this 25' greenbelt as long as said petit-
ioners exeroise oontrol over same.

petition to alter the boundry line by twentyfive (25') feet between
two parcels of land currently owned by one or both said pettioners
(husband and wife, & wife) in order to establish a green belt or
buffer zone consisting of trees and hedges between said paroels in
anticiapation of sale of eastern parcel. At present there is in-
sufficeint space for said buffer. See attached survey.
The petitioner is retired on a fixed income and beoause of economic
reasons is forced to seek relief by the sale of his adjourning prop-
erty.
Said parcels are located on the southern border of Soundview Avenue,
Box 129 G, Route 1, Mattituck, N.Y. 11952, County Tax Map Number
1000, Section 94, Block 2, Lot 1.2 and 1.1 zoned Residential/Agri-
