Bituminous pavements not to be applied to wet pavements or when ambient temp is below 40 degrees. Construction limits shall be May 1 - November 1. 1. Bituminous material distributor shall have an accurate measuring bitumeter, an indicator showing pump output in gallons per minute and full circulation spray bars. 2. Aggregate spreader capable of spreading 10' in one pass at variable widths. Spreader to be self-propelled and have dual operator stations. 3. Pneumatic tired rollers shall compacting the surface treatment. be required for 1. Schim mix asphaltic concrete to be applied at the discretion of the Highway Superintendent. Potholes, settled areas, broken areas, truing and leveling as directed. 2. Asphaltic concrete areas shall bituminous material selected gallon per square yard. be fog sealed with same for the project at .01 3. All manholes, catch basins, curbs and other structures shall be protected against the application of bituminous material. 4. After the area to be treated has been prepared to the satisfaction of the Highway Superintendent, an application of bituminous material (Polymer Modified Bituminous single course) shall be applied at the rate of two-tenths of a gallon per square yard and immediately covered with No. 1 AA 1/411 stone at the approximate rate of 25 Ibs. per square yard. 5.
