Dear Mr. & Mrs. Dickerson:
The following took place at a meeting of the Southold Town Planning Board on
Monday, March 16, 1998:
The final public hearing, which was hel;d at 7:35 p.m. was closed.
The following resolution was adopted:
WHEREAS, Parker E., Betsey B. 8, Chester M. Dickerson are the owners of the
property known and designated as SCTIVI~ 1000-55-1-8.1 & 8.3, located on the
south side of Old North Rd. and the west side of Young's Ave. in Southold; and
WHEREAS, this proposal is to set off a 1.8454 acre parcel from an existing
24.4211 acre parcel. The Town has purchased the development rights on the
proposed 22.5757 acre parcel; and
WHEREAS, the Southold Town Planning Board, pursuant to the State
Environmental Quality Review Act, (Article 8), Part 617, declared itself lead
agency and issued a Negative Declaration on December 15, 1997; and
WHEREAS, the Southold Town Planning Board, pursuant to Chapter 58, Notice
of Public Hearing, has received affidavits that the applicant has complied with
the notification provisions; and

WHEREAS, a final public hearing was closed on said subdivision application at
the Town Hall, Southold, New York on March 16, 1998; and
WHEREAS, all the requirements of the Subdivision Regulations of the Town of
Southold have been met; be it therefore
RESOLVED, that the Southold Town Planning Board approve and authorize the
Chairman to endorse the final surveys dated December 10, 1997.
Enclosed please find a copy of the map which was endorsed by the Chairman.
The mylar maps, which were also endorsed by the Chairman, must be picked up
at this office and filed in the office of the County Clerk. Any plat not so filed or
recorded within sixty (60) days of the date of final approval, shall become null
and void.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Dickerson:
On September 15, 1997, the Planning Board approved a 2 lot (Lot #1
24.42 acres, Lot #2 18.3 acres) subdivision for Dickerson Farm. The
subdivision was filed in the County Clerk's Office on September 23, 1997.
On March 17, 1998, the Planning Board approved a further subdivision of
the above mentioned Lot #1. The new Lot #1 was 1.8454 acres, and the
new Lot # 2 was 22.5757 acres. The map was originally endorsed by the
Planning Board Chairman on March 17, 1998, and was re-endorsed on May
11, 1998.
In accordance with the Suffolk County Clerk's procedures, it is not
possible to record the second subdivision for two years from the filing of
the original subdivision.
The Planning Board reviewed your request to waive the filing requirement
for the second subdivision at the June 15, 1998, work session. The
Planning Board decided to waive the filing requirement.

Dear Mr. Orlowski:
Regarding Map # 10061 of Dickerson Farm, filed Sept. 23, 1997, and the set-offof
Parcel # 1000-55-01-8.1, I am enclosing un Affidavit of Correction from Mr. John
Metzger, L. S., which we hope will meet with your approval. It shows that the map
approved by you in March 1998 is the same as the map filed in September 1997, with the
exception of the dotted line around the parcel.
We have been advised by the Suffolk County Clerk's office that we can not refile the
map for two years (September 1999), therefore we ask the board to waive the 60-day
filing requirement.

resolution granting sketch plan approval was inadvertently omitted from
the meeting. I am noting this for record purposes only.
Please note that final maps (2 Mylars and 5 paper prints) all containing a
current stamp of Health Department approval must be submitted within six
months of December 15, 1997. As noted above, the final hearing was
scheduled for January 5, 1998. If final maps containing Health Department
approval are not submitted by the hearing date, the hearing will be
postponed until the next regularly scheduled Planning Board meeting.
