WHEREAS, the structure complies with the standards set forth in Chapter 97 of the Southold Town Code, WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the people of the town, NOW THEREFORE BE IT, RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees approve the application of JOHN & JOANNE GOUVEIA to replace inkind/inplace of 10 If. of timber bulkhead; the existing rock armor to be placed at the seaward toe of the new bulkhead above high-water to deflect wave energy; repair the existing stairs; place approx. 20 cy. of backfill obtained from an approved upland source, landward of the bulkhead and plant approx. 12'X 12' non-turf buffer with 4' wide path to bulkhead, and as depicted on the plans prepared by Sea level Mapping dated March 25, 2006.
