We also met with Bruno Semon at the Planning Department, and discussed the project with him, and he discussed it directly with you. The result of these conversations was the following understanding: a minor expansion of a commercial activity, accomplished within existing structures on a property which has Site Plan Approval, does not required further review by the Planning Board, pending your approval. The above referenced property received SITE PLAN APPROVAL from the Planning Board about ten years ago, when a storage wing was added to the main building. We now intend to expand the sales area of the existing Fish Market into an adjacent wing of the building, currently used as offices. The only exterior change is a new ramp for handicapped accessibility. On the interior, a few non-bearing partitions will be removed, and new finishes installed. The change results in a net decrease in required parking, as "fish market" has a lower requirement than does "office". There is no requirement for SCDHS review, as there is no impact on the sanitary system. Attached please find a copy of Bruno's letter, a check for $75., a BUILDING PERMIT APPLICATION, a revised SITE PLAN (based on previous project) and PARTIAL FLOOR PLAN, showing proposed interior renovations. Please review these and get back to me with any questions or concerns. If appropriate, please confirm that no Planning Board review is required.
