address the backfilling of the bulkhead with 50 c. y. of clean sand.
The proposed action has been reviewed to Chapter 95, Waterfront Consistency Review of the
Town of Southold Town Code and the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) Policy
Standards. Based upon the information provided on the LWRP Consistency Assessment Form
submitted to this department, as well as the records available to me, it is my recommendation
that the proposed action is generally CONSISTENT with the Policy Standards and
therefore is CONSISTENT with the L WRP.
Pursuant to Chapter 95, the Board of Trustees shall consider this recommendation in preparing
its written determination regarding the consistency of the proposed action.

Re: Susan and Louis Valente. 6800 (aka 6730) Peconic Bav Boulevard. Laurel
Dear Mr. Terry:
Attached please find an L WRP Consistency Assessment Form being submitted in association
with an application to the Board of Trustees for a Town Wetlands Permit to remove and replace
an existing timber bulkhead with a vinyl bulkhead.
I have indicated that all policies are "Not Applicable," because pursuant to Town Code S95-5(A)
and the corresponding definitions of "action" and "minor action" by S95-3, the submission of a
L WRP Consistency Assessment Form is not required for this application, as the proposed work
entails only "maintenance or repair involving no substantial changes in an existing structure or
facility."
Respectfully yours,
Robert E. Herrmann

and other ministerial permits not located within the Coastal Erosion Hazard Area.
2. Before answering the questions in Section C, the preparer of this form should review the exempt

Waterfront Revitalization Program. A prooosed action will be evaluated as to its significant
beneficial and adverse effects upon the coastal area (which includes all of South old Town).
