THIS IS TO CERTIFY THAT THE FOllOWING RESOLUTION WAS ADOPTED BY
THE SOUTHOlD TOWN BOARD AT A REGULAR MEETING HELD ON JUNE 1I, 1985:
RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby authorizes
the sale of lot 311, Greenport Driving Park, Map No. 369, District 1000, Section
01l8.00, Block 03.00, lot 016.000, Parcel B, acquired from the County of Suffolk
by Deed dated October 31 ,19811, to the Greenport Housing Alliance, at the sale
price of $6,500.00, with payment deferred until the Greenport Housing Alliance
rehabilitates and sells said. property, all matters concerning the conveyance of
said property is subject to the approval of Town Attorney Tasker. and be it
further
RESOLVED that the Town Board hereby authorizes and directs Supervisor
Francis J. Murphy to execute all documents for the conveyance of said property
to the Greenport Housing Alliance, and be it further
RESOLVED that this resolution is subject to a permissive referendum, and
the Town Clerk be and she hereby is authorized and directed to publish notice
of adoption of this resolution in accordance with the applicable provisions of law.

DESCRIPTION OF SITE
Parcel "B":
The subject lot is located on the west side of 7th Street
45 feet south of the corner of Linnet Street. Due to fore-
closure, landscaping has overgrown and requires considerable
work.
The lot is level at street grade with a slight eastward slope,
which is adequate for site drainage.
The lot fronts 45 feet on the west side of 7th Street, with
a depth of 100 feet.
In arriving at an estimate of the land value of the subject
property, consideration was given to a March, 1984 sale of a
lot on the souths ide of Flint Street, one block north of the
subject. This lot sold for $7,000 and was a 50 foot by
113 foot parcel. There is a limited availability of sites in
this area and based on a front foot value adjusted for time,
utility and street location, that the market value of the
subject site is $6,500.
