In connection with this matter, I am enclosing herewith the original deed from Doris Helf to the Town of Southold dated and acknowledged December 13, 1977 and recorded in the Suffolk County Clerk's Office on March 21, 1978 in Liber 8403 of deeds at page 227. I am also enclosing herewith a survey map of the premises in question. In order that I may have a record for my files, will you please acknowledge receipt of the enclosures by signing and returning to me a copy of this letter enclosed for that purpose. Martocchia Supervisor, Town of Southo1d Town Hall Southold, New York 11971 Re: Purchase of Helf Property on East Side of Bray Avenue, Mattituck Dear Sir: This is to advise you that on March 17, 1978 title closed on the purchase of the Helf property by the Town and relative thereto I enclose herewith the following: 1. Closing Statement. 2. Photostatic copy of deed dated December 13, 1977 and recorded in the Suffolk County Clerk's Office on March 21, 1978 in Liber 8403 of deeds at page 227. 3. Map of the premises acquired. As you know your office supplied me with checks to consummate this transaction. To justify these disbursements I am enclosing herewith a voucher signed by Young and Young for $145.00 for survey work and a voucher from the First American Title Insurance Company in the amount of $155.00 for title insurance and recording fees. I have sent a voucher to William Clark, attorney for Doris Helf and asked that he have Mrs. Helf sign the voucher for the purchase of the property. When this is returned to me, it will be sent to you. The original deed is being sent to the Town Clerk for filing in her office. The second half taxes are $36,06 and as you know this should be paid before May 31, 1978. Also enclosed herewith is an executed voucher of Mrs. Doris Helf which should be filed with the Town records.
