ALL that certain plot, piece or parcel of land, with the buildings and improvements thereon erected, situate,
lying and being imdul: at Peconic, in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York,
bounded and described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the southerly line of Mill Road, also known as Mill
Lane, which point of beginning is the following two courses and distances along
said southerly side of Mill Road from a monument set on said southerly side of
Mill Road at the southeasterly boundary line of land now or formerly of Peter
Sienk, to wit:
(1)" South 63 degrees 46 minutes 00 seconds East 52.50 feet; thence
(2) South 77 degrees 55 minutes 00 seconds East 335.50 feet; from said point
of beginning running thence along land now or formerly of Mrowka Estate South
8 degrees 14 minutes 20 seconds West 10.02 feet to the northeasterly corner of
lands conveyed or about to be eonveyed by the Long Island Lighting Company to the
Town of Southold, the party of the second part herein; running thence along land
last mentioned South 65 degrees 17 minutes 10 seconds West 59.58 feet; running
thence through lands of the parties of the first part herein North 8 degrees 14
minutes 20 seconds East 45, 78 feet to said southerly line of Mill Road; running
thence along said southerly line of Mill Road South 77 degrees 55 minutes 00
seconds East 50. 11 feet to the point or place of beginning.
TOGETH~R with all right, t!t1e and i~terest, if any, of the party of the first part in and to any streets and
roads abuttmg the above, described premises to the center lines thereof; TOGETHER with the appurtenances
and all the estat~ and rlg,hts of the party of the first part in and to said premises; TO HAVE AND TO
HOLD the premises herem granted unto the party of the second part, the heirs or successors and assigns of
the party of the second part forever.
AND the partJ: of the ,first part covenants that th~ party of the first part has not done or suffered anything
whereby the saId premises have been encumbered In any way whatever, except as aforesaid.
AND the party, of the. first part, in compliance w~th Section 13 of the, Lien Law, covenants that the party of

Re: Acquisition of Land on the West Side of Mill Lane
from Henry Smith and Long Island Lighting Company
Dear Albert:
Enclosed herewith are the following deeds:
Deed dated January 6, 1967 from Henry J. Smith and Stella M. Smith
to the Town of Southold, recorded February 20, 1967 in the Suffolk
County Clerk's Office in Liber 6116 of Deeds at page 391;
Deed dated February 8, 1967 from Long Island Lighting Company to
the Town of Southold, recorded February 20, 1967 in the Suffolk
County Clerk's Office in Liber 6116 of Deeds at page 389.
These deeds convey a strip of land 50 feet in width for highway purposes running
westerly from Mill Road at Southold to land of Peconic Homes for the purpose of
a future highway.
These deeds should be filed in your office.
In order that we may have a record for our files, will you please acknowledge
receipt of the deeds by signing and returning to us the blue copy of this letter
enclosed for that purpose.
