Dear Let:
In accordance with the Board's resolution of April 14 and our conversation
subsequent thereto, enclosed is a deed from the Town to the Village, in
duplicate, and one from the Town to May Adams, also in duplicate.
After you have had a chance to discuss the propriety of your signing these
with the town attorney, I would appreciate it if you would execute them and
return them to me.
If it's any inducement, the sooner I have the deeds the sooner the likelihood
of telephone service will be ever so much better.

TOGETHER with all right, title and interest, if any, of the party of the first part of, in and to any streets and
roads abutting the above-described premises to the center lines thereof; TOGETHER with the appurtenances
and all the estate and rights of the party of the first part in and to said premises; TO HAVE AND TO
HOLD the premises herein granted unto the party of the second part, the heirs or succeOllors and assigns of
the party of the second part forever.
AND the party of the first part, in compliance with Section 13 of the Lien Law, hereby covenants that the party
of the first part will receive the consideration for this conveyance and will hold the right to receive such consid-
eration as a trust fund to be applied first for the purpose of paying the cost of the improvement and will apply
the same first to the payment of the cost of the improvement before using any part of the total of the same for
any other purpose.
The word "party" shall be construed as if it read "parties" whenever the sense of this indenture so requires.

Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Justice Tuthill:
V..HEREAS, the Town Superintendent of Highways with the consent of
the Town Board has certified to the abandonment of a portlon of an old town
highway being generally west of :\loore's Lane and north of the Main Road as
altered; and
WHEREAS. buildings or parts of buildings and other structures have been
erected on the said abandoned highway and the Town has no longer any interest
the rem, and the successors to the former ownera and the present owners of the
land adjacent thereto have applied to the town for the release of said lands to
said former owners,
Now, Therefor, it is
RESOLVED. that the Supervisor be and he hereby is authorized and
directed to execute deeds quit -claiming the interest of the Town, if any, as
follows:
A) to the Village of Greenport: all that certain parcel of land near
the Village of Greenport. Town of 8outhold, County of Suffolk and State of New
York, bounded and described as follow.: BEGINNING at the intersection of the
westerly line of Moore's Lane with the northerly line of the "old highway", maid
point of beginning being the southeasterly eorner of hmd formerly of W. H. H.
Moon Estate and now of the Village of Greenport; from said point of beginning
running southerly on the direct extension eoutherly of saId westerly line of
Moore's JAne, 11 teet, more or les., to the northerly line of the Mllin Road as
altered; thence westerly, along sRid northerly line, 259 feet, more or les., to
a point on the aoutherly line of said "old highway"; thence northerly, scro.. said
"old highWay". 50 feet, more or less, to a point on said northerly line thereof
at the northeasterly corner of land formerly of Adams adjoining said land form-
erly of Moore Eabte; thence easterly, along said llUld formerly of Moore Estate,
now of the Village of Greenport, and being along Baid northerly line of said "old
highway", 270 feet, mClle or less, to the point of beginning; containing 0.2 of an
acre, more or less;
