#5269 dated November 21,2000 new plans submitted reflecting the change of the existing
concrete patio.
However, this determination is not a determination from any other agency.

Re: Request to Extend Permit of Savas Katsorhis. ADDfOVed 11121/00
This project was approved at the 11/21/00 meeting of the Trustees, subject to the submission ofa
new plan showing the removal ofsorne of the existing concrete patio. Since then we've been
working both internally and with the NYSDEC to agree on a plan. The outstanding questions ap-
parently have now been resolved and the long-awaited new plan is enclosed. The DEC required
that the entire existing concrete patio be removed, and the new Project Plan reflects that change.
Presumably the permit can now be issued, but we will certainly need the extra time, please.
The $10 extension fee is enclosed

Dear Mr. Fitzgerald:
The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees during a Regular Meeting, held
on November 21, 2000. regarding the above matter.
WHEREAS, Proper - T Permit Services on behalf of SAVAS KATSORHIS applied to the
Southold Town Trustees for a permit under the provisions of the Wetland Ordinance ofthe Town
of South old, application dated November 1, 2000 and
WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council
for their findings and recommendations, and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect to said application on
November 21, 2000 at which time all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard,
and,
WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are familiar with the premises in
question and the surrounding area, and,
WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation submitted
concerning this application, and,
WHEREAS, the structure complies with the standard set forth in Chapter 97-18 ofthe Southold
Town Code,
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will not affect the health,
safety and general welfare of the people of the town,

NOW THEREFORE BE IT,
RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees approved the application of SAVAS KA TSORHIS for
a Wetland Permit to construct wood deck 16'x30'7" with three sets of steps to grade and 32"
high railing, over existing concrete patio 19 'x32' . Deck to be supported to concrete block piers,
height above patio varies from 30" to 40". With the stipulations that dry wells be put in for two
(2) down spouts for front of house on the water side. Two (2) down spouts be placed one on
each side of side property. Concrete slab underneath the new deck be removed at least ten (10)
feet back from seaward end back of house, hay bales be put in during removal and the front of
marsh be re-established to go underneath the deck grade with sand and let the grasses grow by
themselves.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this determination should not be considered a determination
made for any other Department or Agency which may also have an application pending for the
same or similar project.
Permit to construct project will expire two years from the date it is signed. Fees must be paid, if
applicable, and permit issued within six months ofthe date of this notification.

Construct wood deck 16' x 30.7', with three sets of steps to grade and 32" high
railing, over existing concrete patio 19' x 32'. Deck to be supported by
