Very truly yours, RMK ITFJ I J lb Enc. cci Town of Southold R. M. Kammerer Commissioner of Public Works Suffolk County Department of Public Works Addenda The Church zone runs fro~ the main line railroad tracks to south of the cemetary. The Town Clerk's office stated that they wished the existing seasonal 30MPH speed limit at the Town Beach raised to 40MPH (Enclosed is a copy of the original order which was amended on August 12, 1957 to extend the seasonal restriction). Since the original orde~the town has built and then enlarged the Beach Parking Lot so all people park off County Road 27-Riverhead- Greenport Road. Since most of this section is straight, they feel and we agree that 40 ~.~H is reasonable and realistic for a seasonal speed limit. OFFICE OF TOWN {~LERK 'I;OWN OF SOIITHOLD SOUTHOLD, L. I., N. Y.
