Town of SOUTHOLD LocalLaw 19 of 2005 A Local Law entitled, "A Local iLaw in Relation to No Parking on Oaklawn Avenue, Southold, New York". BE IT ENACTED by the Town Board of the Town of Southold as follows: I. Purpose- The purpose of this Local Law is to restrict parking on Oaklawn Avenue to provide additional safety for vehicle traffic and maintain the rural character of the neighborhood. II. Chapter 92 (Vehicles & Traffic) of the Code of the Town of Southold is hereby amended as follows: Article IV, Section 92-42 (Parking Prohibited during Certain Hours) is hereby amended as follows: Name of Street Side During Months Locations And Hours Oaklawn Avenue East September to And including June between The hours of 8 a.m. and 4p.m. 900 feet in a northerly direction from the inter-section of Jernick Lane Oaklawn Avenue West September to And including June between The hours of 8 a.m. and 4p.m. 900 feet in a northerly direction from the intersection of the southern exit of the Southold Elementary School Driveway III. Severability. If a section or subsection, paragraph, clause, phrase or provision of this law shall be judge invalid or held unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, any judgment made thereby shall not affect the validity of this law as a whole or any part thereof other than the part or provision so adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional. This Local Law shall take effect inunediately upon filing with the Secretary of State. (Complete the certification in the paragraph that applies to the filing of this local law and strike out that which is not applicable.) 1. (Final adoption by local legislative body only.)
