Home Office Extension - First Floor Construction of the approved first floor addition on the landward side of the existing dwelling and the second floor addition is currently on the way. The owners are pleased with the progress, and they asked me recently if it might be possible to enlarge the first floor home office modestly by 'pushing' the exterior wall out by 5' .6" - before the construction will come to an end. The proposed addition will increase the floor area by 81.0 SF. A small terrace will be created on the 2nd floor above the addition and a crawl space under the proposed addition. The foundation walls will be executed in masonry. Since the proposed construction will stay more than 10 feet behind the existing footprint of the main house and due to the relatively modest change they are requesting. the owners hope that the Board of Town Trustees will grant them an administrative amendment of the existing permit.
