to One-Way streets in the hamlet of Southold: Beckwith Avenue,
Hobart Avenue and Mechanic Street; I am enclosing herewith a page
from the Code of the Town of Sou~.hold, Vehicles and Traffic Ordinance,
Article II, Section 92-20 specifying those streets in question as one-
way streets.

§ 92-20
CURBLINE ' The prolongation of the lateral line of a
curb or, in the absence of a curb, the lateral boundary line
of the highway.
HOLIDAYS -- New Year's Day, Memorial Day, In-
dependence Day, Labor Day, Thsnksgiving and Christmas
sh~]l be considered "holidays."
OFFICIAL TIME STANDARD -- Whenever certain
hours are named herein or on traffic control devices, they
shall mean the time standard which is in current use in this
state.
PUBLIC PARKING LOT -- A plot or parcel of land
owned and/or leased by the Town of Southold, not in-
eluding highways, upon or within which the parldng of
vehicles is regulated by signs and/or parking meters.
§ '92-11. Authority to install traffic control devices.
The Superintendent of Highways of the Town of Southold shall
install and maintain traffic control devices when and as required
under the provisions of this chapter, to make effective the
provisions of this chapter, and may install and maintain such
additional traffic control devices as he may deem necessary to
regulate, warn or guide traffic, under and subject to the provisions
of the Vehicle and Traffic Law of the State of New York.
