THIS IS TO CERTIFY THAT THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION WAS ADOPTED BY THE
SOUTHOLD TOWN I~OARD AT A REGULAR MEETING HELD ON APRIL 21, 1987:
RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby requests
the New York :State Department of Transportation to conduct a speed survey
for the following area of Southold: from the easterly right-of-way line of
Hortons-Lane at its intersection with County Route 48, northerly to Long
Island Sound, easterly along the shoreline of Long Island Sound to the
terminus of Soundview Avenue (west of the Southold Town Beach), at its
intersection with County Route 48, and westerly along Route 48 to Hortons
Lane. (area map attached)
