Our investigation included radar speed data and evaluation of roadside development along the highway. Our radar speed data showed the 85th percentile speed on this section of roadway is 56 mph. Therefore, based on the 85th percentile speed and current roadside development along CR 48, reducing the speed limit t¥om the current 50 mph would not be appropriate at this time.
