Based on a prior request, we have initiated a traffic study at this location. However, since we receive numerous requests for traffic safety evaluations throughout Suffolk County.. there will be some delay in progressing and completing this study. On April £4th last, my wife and ! were involved in a collision at this intersection resulting in a totalled Cadillac, my svending three weeks in the hospital recovering from broke~n ribs, my wife sent home to recum~rate from broken ribs and a fractured oelvls and suffering from oost accident trauma that I am sure contributed to her death last month. I feel certain that this accident would not have occured if a traffic light had been in operation. Good luck in your endeavors to h~ave this accomplished. ELIZABETH A.
