Yh~s Opinion No. 6~-7~ GENERAL .MUNICIPAL LAW,.~ 103(2); GENERAL CONSTRUCTION LAW, 9 20: The advertisement for bids on March 22, 1962 and the opening and reading of the bids on March 27, 1962 would net be a compliance with the pro~isi0ns Of ~ 103{2) Of the General Municipal Law. Such provision requires a minimum of five ~ays between the date of the first 'adVertisement and :he date specified for opening the bids, and such days'are excluded in determinsng the minimum period of five days.
