Dear Ms. Farnbach:
In response to your letter dated June 12, 2010, the Board of Trustees reviewed
your request to add a 4'x8' walkway area using patio blocks within the 10' wide
non-turf buffer area adjacent to the bulkhead and determined that this project is
considered part of your non-turf buffer area and does not require a permit. The
patio blocks are to be installed in a fashion that the area remains pervious to
water runoff, not to be cemented in or when installed become non-pervious.
Any other activity within 100' of the wetland boundary requires a permit from this
office.
This is not a determination from any other agency.
If you have any questions, please call our office at (631) 765-1892.
Sincerely,
il~l ~. Doherty~~
