The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees
during its Regular Meeting held on March 25, 1998, regarding the
above matter:
WHEREAS, VILLAGE MARINE, applied to the Southold Town Trustees
for a permit under the provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of
the Town of Southold, application dated March 9, 1998 and,
WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southold Town
Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and
recommendations, and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with
respect to said application on March 25, 1998, at which time all
interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and,
WHEREAS, the Board members
familiar with the premises
and,
have personally viewed and are
in question and the surrounding area,
WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and
documentation submitted concerning this application, and,
WHEREAS, the structure complies with the standard set forth in
Chapter 97-18 of the Southold Town Code,
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed
will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the
people of the town,

The following action taken at a meeting of the Southold Town Conservation
Advisory Council held Monday. March 23, 1998:

RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board of Trustees APPROVAL
of the of the Wetland Perm{t Application of VILLAGE MARINE 122-3-15.1 to
reconstruct within 18" 340 +/-' of timber bulkhead and to backfill structure
w{th 75 +/- c.y. of clean sand to be trucked in from an upland source.
The CAC recommends approval but does have concerns about the runoff.

The following action was taken at the Southold Town Board of Trustees Regular Meeting on
March 21, 2001.
RESOLVED, that the Southold Town Board of Trustees grant a one year extension to Permit
#4882 to reconstruct in kind/in place 340+' of timber bulkhead and dredge a 10'x268' area
adjacent to bulkhead to a depth of-4' ALW and 400 cy of resultant spoil to be utilized as
backfill. THIS WILL BE THE LAST ONE YEAR EXTENSION GRANTED. Application
must be completed in one year.
However, this determination is not a determination from any other agency.
