SCTM#118-1-15.1 The CAC recommend Disapproval of the application within 18" and recommends in- place replacement only, and a 10' non-turf buffer behind the bulkhead. The practice of replacing structures within 18" has a negative impact to the wetland resource and would infringe upon and take away from the public domain. Replacing bulkheads within 18" has an accumulative effect on the loss of wetland resources throughout the Town of Southold. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this determination should not be considered a determination made for any other Department or Agency, which may also have an application pending for the same or similar project. Permit to construct and complete project will expire two years from the date the permit is signed. Fees must be paid, if applicable, and permit issued within six months of the date of this notification.
