Heating Services and Fuels, Inc. at a price of plus $.12 per gallon over the Tosco Reseller Rack
Price, for supplying the Town of Southold with Heating Fuel Oil for the 2001 Calendar Year, all
in accordance with bid specifications.

SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE PURCHASE OF
NO "2" FUEL OIL FOR THE TOWN OF SOUTHOLD
FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2001
Under these specifications the Town of Southold seeks bids for furnishing all of
the No."2" fuel oil (heating fuel oil) required for heating the Town buildings,
consisting of the Southold Town Hall, 53095 Main Road, Southold, New York (1,500
gallon tank); the Highway Department Building, Peconic Lane, Peconic, New York
(275 Gallon Tank); and the Collection Center Building, County Route 48,
Cutchogue, New York (300 gallon tank). Bidders are to submit bids for furnishing
all of the necessary No. "2" heating fuel oil for the calendar year 2001. Deliveries are
to be made to the town buildings as and when required.
In submitting bids, the bid price shall be based upon Tosco Refining Company's
Consumer Rack price to which has been added the delivery cost per gallon. The
aforementioned consumer rack price is published daily in the journal of commeme.
Vendor receiving award must supply service free of charge on town owned
heating systems.
The bid price shall not include any federal, state, or local tax, from which the
Town Of Southold is exempt.
The Southold Town Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive
any defect or informality in any bid should it be deemed in the best interest of the Town
Of Southold to do so.
Bids must include a non-collusive bid certificate, and be signed and sealed in
envelopes plainly marked "Bid On No. "2" Heating Fuel Oil" and addressed to the
Town Clerk, Town Of Southold, Town Hall, 53095 Main Road, Southold, New York
11971.
