Applicant proposes to modify the existing and "in-force" Town of
Southold Board of Trustees Wetlands Permit (No. 5801) to reflect
design revisions driven by the New York State Department of
Environmental Conservation regulatory requirements. The original
permit authorized for the construction of:

kitchen addition and new sanitary system...
Applicant requests to modify subject permit as follows:

Construct a total off our (4) additions to the existing
containing a total of 925 square feet :~resulting in a mtnimum
structural setbacl~ from wetlands of 80. O' ~, an increase in
setback from the initial wetlands permit;

of subject property, containing 320 square feet ~, resulting in

Abandonment of the existing septic system within the
northern section of subject property, and construction of
a more conforming sanitary system within the central
section of subject property, resulting in a setback from
wetlands of140. O' ~' and
Removal of the existing asphalt (impervious) driveway and
installation ora gravel (pervious) driveaay.
Please note that the modified proposal results in greater wetlands
setbacks than previously approved within the initial wetlands permit.

Dear Mr. Krupski,
As you know, this Firm represents the property owner referenced above, who is in receipt
of the Board of Trnstees Wetlands Permit referenced above, issued September 24, 2003,
authorizing for the construction of a "... 135. 0 square foot ± bedroom addition 644. 0
square foot ± kitchen addition and new sanitary system with the addition of drywells for
roof fun off with roof gutters and down spouts and a stake row of hay bales outside of the
construction line."
In the interim, this office has secured approval from the New York State Departmem of
Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) for subject improvements, however, certain design
changes were required in order to further comply with the regulations of the NYSDEC.
Consequently, these changes are required to be clarified with your Board, and
subsequemly, modification approval concerning same is sought. Accordingly, please find
enclosed:

Site Plan of subject property, prepared by Suffolk £nvironmantai
Consultin§, lnG. and adapted from the survey of subject property
as provided by FOX LAND $0RVEYllqG, dated May 3, 2004,
stamped approved by the ~IYSDEC, indicating all proposed and
existing structures thereon (two [2] copies); and

Please note that we are currently awaiting the survey revisions which will reflect the
enclosed site plan, and upon receipt, same will immediately be submitted to your attention.

modification approval conditional upon the receipt of the revised surveys.

The CAC recommends Disapproval of the application because of insufficient
information. The applicant should provide the actual measurements of each addition,

The Board of Town Trustees took the following action during a Regular Meeting, held on
September 24th, 2003 regarding the above matter.
WHEREAS, Suffolk Environmental Consulting, Ina. on behalf of Monica Kreischer
(Feldman) applied to the Southold Town Trustees for a permit under the provisions of the
Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated July 31,2003
WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council
for their findings and recommendations, and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by thc Town.Trustees with respect to said application on
September 24, 2003 at which time all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard,
and,
WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are familiar with the premises in
question and the surrounding area, and,
WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation submitted
concerning this application, and,
WHEREAS, the structure complies with the standard set forth in Chapter 97-18 of the Southold

Town Code.
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will not affect the health,
Safety and general welfare of the people of the town.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT,
RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees approved a Wetland Permit for MONICA KREISCHER
(FELDMAN) to construct a 135.0 square foot +/- bedroom addition 644.0 square foot +/-
kitchen addition and new sanitary system with the addition of drywells for roof run off with
roof gutters and down spouts and a stake row of hay bales outside of the construction line.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this determination should not be considered a determination
made for any other Department or Agency, which may also have an application pending for the
same or similar project.
Fee must be paid, if applicable and permit issued within six months of the date of this
notification.
