This represents a 65% increase over the 1999 bid price (also from JBH). The JBH bid was the only one received. I previously asked the Board to postpone awarding the bid in order to seek price quotes from other qualified bidders. I have located a company who is willing to do the work at substantially less cost. I therefore request the Board to adopt a resolution rejecting the JBH bid and to re-bid for the scrap tire removal service. ELIZABETtt A.
