Huntington. A letter was received from Merwin Gruschkin, the present operator of Town Beach CQncession S~a~ and Facilities, advising the Town that he is unable to continue operation of said Concession Stand ~nd therefore ~- requests that Town of Southotd ~'~ cancel the agreement dated May !1, 1960.. A letter was received from the State Traffic commission denying a re- quest for 'a lower speed limit on Bay Avenue, Cutchogue, N.Y. Adjournment was at 5:30 P.M. Albert W. Moved by Councilman Grathowhl; seconded by Justice Tuthill: WHEREAS, the Southold Planning Board has prepared an official report and recommendation upon the proposals to amend the Building Zone Ordin- and of the Town of $outhold, Suffolk County% New ¥or~, NOW, TH~EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That a public hearing will be held bT the Southold Town Board at the Superv£sor's Office, 16 South Street,.~ Greenport, New York~ on March 27, t962, at 7:30 on the following proposed amendments to the Southo!d T~¢n Building Zone Ordinance including the Building Zone Maps, to wit: 1. By amending the Southold Town Building Zone Ordinance as fotlows~-~ 1. By amending Article III, Section 300 by inserting therein a new subdivision to be subdivision lA to read as follows: lA - Two (2) family dwellings, when authorized as a special exception by the Board of Appe~st~% as hereinafter provided. II..By amending Article III, Section 300, Subdivison 7 to read as. follows: 7 - Accessory buildings, including one (1) private garage~ .~ when such accessory buildings are located in the rear yard or a private garage within or attached~to the dwe!ti~g. III. By amending Article IV, Section 408, subdivision (b), _subsection 2 to read as follows: 2. Exceed in width one hundred (100) percent of the horizontal measurement of such wall. IV. Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Councilman G~athwoh!~ WHEREAS, it is required by Section 148 of the Education Law that a local Historian shall be' appointed by the Supervisor of a Town, and WHEREAS, THE Supervisor has appointed Florence Kramer ao act as Town Historian, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED; That Florence Kramer be compensated while acting in such capacity in the amount of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) per year, payable in regular monthly payments, as of Feb. 1, 1962, and BE IT RESOLVED: ?nat th~ Town clerk be instructed to file such certifi- cates with the Dkoper parties as is required by Section 30, Subdivision 3 of the Town Law.
