RESOLUTIONS Special Note: At the start of the Town Board Meeting the Supervisor will invite the public to speak on the following resolutions. Determine that the Conservation Easements conveyed by R. Witteveen to Peconic Land Trust are pursuant to the Town's public policy to preserve prime agricultural soils and protect the open space character of the town and benefit the public. Authorize and direct the Town Clerk to advertise for bids for the purchase of two 1998 Pick Up Trucks for the Superintendent of Highways. Authorize and direct the Town Clerk to advertise for bids for the purchase of 150,000 square yards of Polymer Modified Asphalt Pavement Type II Micro-Surfacing for the Superintendent of Highways. Authorize the acceptance &residential leaves and brash at the Southold Town Landfill, free of charge, for three weeks prior to the scheduled Highway Department Clean Up Weeks in 1998. ) Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to sign the 1998 Contract for Services Agreement with Family Service League of SufFolk County. Grant permission to Raymond Cleaves Post No. 861 American Legion, Mattituck, to use Town roads for a Memorial Day parade on Monday, May 25, 1998. Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute a lease agreement with NY SMSA Limited Partnership, Dfo/a Bell Atlantic Mobile for installation of Telecommunication Tower and Equipment Building in Peconic. )~) Grant permission to the Southold Village Merchants Group to use the Municipal Parking Field on the south side of NYS Route 25, Southold for their 3rd Annual Craft Fair on Saturday, May 23, 1998. Accept the resignation of Patti Goodale, an aide with EISEP. Grant permission to Code Enforcement Officer Edward Forrester to attend the NYS Mandated Training Seminar Course No. 41 Inspection of Existing Structures April 7-9, 1998 in Yaphank. Appoint Nina Schmid as Secretary to the Fishers Island Harbor Committee. Appoint Herbert Adler as a member of the Southold Town Landmark Preservation Commission. Declare certain equipment as surplus and authorize and direct the Town Clerk to advertise its sale by bid. Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute an extension agreement with the Suffolk County Office for the Aging for the IIIC Nutrition Program. Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute an agreement with the Suffolk County Marine Environmental Learning Center at Cedar Beach, Southold, toimplement the 1998 Shellfish Hatchery Program. Authorize and direct the Town Clerk to advertise for a part-time account clerk for the Human Services Department. Appoint Sheila Klos as a Permanent Public Safety Dispatcher I.
