Special Note: At the s~art of the Town Board Meeting the Supervisor will invite the public to
speak on the following resolutions.
Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute agreements with individuals for 1998
summer recreation programs.
Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 1998 budget to appropriate a
donation from Southold Rotary for the Anti-Bias Task Force.
Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 1998 budget for the aqquisition o:~
the Thompson property.
Grant permission to Recreation Supervisor Kenneth Reeves to take National Playground
Safety Institute Certified Playground Safety Inspector Training Program in Huntington on
December 9o10, 1998.

5. Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 1998 budget to appropriate funds
for meetings and seminars.
6. Establish 1998 pay schedule for Lifeguards and Beach Attendants.
7. Authorize Beach Attendants to be supplied with petty cash fund in order to make change.
8. Authorize the issuance of free beach parking permits to beach personnel.
9. Authorize reimbursement of $.30 per mile to Beach Managers and Lifeguards acting as
rotating Lifeguards.
10. Grant permission tot he Cutchogue-New Suffolk Historical Council to close Case's Lane on
July 4, 1998 to hold their Annual Antique Show and Sale.
11. Accept, with regret, the resignation of Mark Gagen from the Anti-Bias Task Force.
12. Advertise for resumes for a member of the Anti-Bias Task Force.
13. Appoint Megan Gallagher, Kirsten Unfried, Katherine Holbrook, and Lasser O'Callaghan as
Technicians under the Fishers Island Safe BTI Mosquito Control Program.
14. Authorize Supervisor Cochran to execute an agreement with Randall Feinberg for winter
storage of equiPment.
Rescind Resolution No. 4 of April 14, 1998 accepting the ProPosal of Howe Scale for
maintenance and servicing of the landfill scales.
Accept the proposal of Atlantic Scale for the maintenance and servicing of the landfill scales
for the calendar year 1998.
Authorize and direct the Town Clerk to advertise for bids for the repair of the incoming
landfill scale.
18. Authorize modification to the Solid Waste District 1998 budgot.
19. Authorize reimbursement of mileage expenses for landfill foroman to travel to Pennsylvania
to inspect equipment prior to purchase

Authorize use of Town vehicle for second trip to Pennsylvania for purposes to inspect
equipment prior to purchase.
Grant permission to Solid Waste Coordinator James Bunchuck to attend Seminar sponsored
by the Cornell Waste Management Institute at Newburgh, NY on June 10, 1998.
Accept the bid of Corazazini Asphalt, Inc. for furnishing and placing Bituminous Surface
Treatment RC-250 and MC-250 (Oil & Sand) within the Town of Southold.
Accept the bid of Corazzlni Asphalt, Inc. for furnishing and placing Bituminous Surface
Treatment - Liquid Asphalt Grade RC-250 (Oil & Stone) within the Town of Southold.
Accept the bid of Cora~,ini Asphalt, Inc. for furnishing and placing Liquid Asphalt Grades

Create the position of Senior Citizen Program Supervisor and establish salary scale.
Approve grant of $2500 to Greenpon School for summer recreation program.
Resolution in support of the Old House Society of their grant application to the State.
Authorize Supervisor Coehran to execute an agreement with H&M Leasing Corp. For a
textile recycling program.
