POLICY: At scheduled Town Board meetings, the attending public is encouraged to briefly
address the Town Board relating to agenda resolutions prior to their enactment; the public will
also be given time at the conclusion of the regularly scheduled business agenda to address the
Board on any given topic.

NYS DEC Notice of Complete Application of Southold Union Free School District to
install an irrigation well approximately 60' deep at 420 Oaklawn Avenue, Town of
Southold. Written comments by August 28, 1998.
NYS DEC Notice of Complete Application of Laughing Waters Property Owners
Association to dredge two areas in Corey Creek known as the North Marina and South
Marina and place the dredged material from North Marina landward of the existing bulkhead
then trucked offsite; and the dredged material from South Marina will be spread along the
beach at Minnehaha Blvd., Town of Southold. Written comments by September 4, 1998.

V. RESOLUTIONS
Special Note: At the start of the Town Board Meeting the Supervisor will invite the public to
speak on the following resolutions.
Grant permission to Detective Beth Dzenkowski to attend the Interviewing & Interrogation
Seminar at the S.C. Police Academy in Nesconset October 26-28, 1998.
-~Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute agreements with individuals for the
1998 Fall Recreation Programs.
x3(23 Authorize the closure of certain roads in Mattituck on Saturday, October 3, 1998 during the
Mattituck High School's Annual Homecoming Day Parade.
X~end resolution no. 7 of May 12, 1998, changing the resignation date of Jill Doherty from
September 16 to September 2, 1998.
'~ ~end resolution no. 16 of August 4, 1998, changing the salary ofValerie D. Malone from
$8.59 per hour to $19,633.80 per annum.

transportation for elderly persons and persons with disabilities, using federal funds, as part
of the Town's grant application to the New York State Department of Transportation.

Certification and Assurances Form, as part of the Town's grant application for New York
State Department of Transportation.
Appoint Supervisor Cochran to the Employee's Deferred Compensation Plan Committee.
Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 1998 Assessors budget.
Accept the resignation of Marvin Knight from the position of part-time Mini-Van Driver.
