Downs Farm Preserve V.~. RESOLUTIONS Special Note: At the start of the Town Board Meeting the Supervisor will invite the public to speak on the following resolutions. 1. Accept, with regret, the resignation of Sharon A. Shine from the Conservation Advisory Council. 2. Authorize and direct the Town Clerk to advertise for resumes for membership on the Conservation Advisory Council. 3. Grant permission to the Association for the Help of Retarded Children to use Moores Lane, Greenport, for their "Laurel Run" on May 1, 1999. 4 Grant permission to the American Diabetes Association to use Town Roads i~or their annual "Tour de Cure" cycling event on June 27, 1999. 5 Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 1998 budget to appropriate fi~nds for street light services on Fishers Island. 6.~ Authorize and direct the Town Clerk to advertise for bids for the Superintendent of Highways to purchase one tractor. 7. Authorize Alan Kaplan of Island Group, Inc. as a signatory to the bank account entitled "Town of Southold Employees Health Plan" at North Fork Bank. 9. Accept the bid of Northeast Environmental Services, Inc. for the Removal and Disposal of Household Hazardous Wastes from the Collection Center. 1~0.~ - '-~ ~'~ 10~.Authorize the acquisition of a payloader at the Highway Department, and authorize appropriation of the funds by issuance of serial bonds not to exceed $100,000. Set 5:00 p.m, Tuesday, February 18, 1999 at Southold Town H~II as the time and place for a public hearing on "A Local Law Authorizing the Town of Southold to Establish a Public Utility Service Pursuant to Section 360 of the General Municipal Law". Determine that the Conservation Easements conveyed by Raoul Witteveen to Peconic Land Trust are pursuant to the Town's clearly delineated public policy to preserve prime agricultural soils and to protect the scenic, open space character of the Town, and the conveyances will yield a significant public benefit. (Held for Town Attorney Review) 13. Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 1998 budget for employee earnings in the office of the Town Clerk. 14. Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 1998 budget for postage. 15. Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 1998 budget for the CSEA Benefit Fund. 16. Authorize modification to the 1998 Employee Health Plan budget to cover overexpended appropriations. 17 Authorize modification to the 1998 Fishers Island Sewer District budget to cover an overdrawn item. 18. Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 1999 budget to appropriate a portion of the LWRP Grant for dredging at Goldsmith's Inlet. 19. Authorize modification to the 1998 Wastewater Disposal District budget to cover overdrawn line items 20. Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 1999 budget to reappropriate Park & Playground funds not used for previously approved projects. Authorize modification to the General Fund Part Town 1998 budget to cover an overexpended appropriation for the CSEA Benefit Fund. ~._n. Authorize modification to the Southold Town Police Department 1998 budget to cover lines with insufficient funds. 28. Authorize Supervisor Cochran to execute a 1999 Youth Bureau Amendment of Agreement to extend the current contract for the Southold Town Youth Service Program. 29. Authorize modification to the General Fund Part Town 1998 budget to appropriate grants received for the Erosion Mitigation Studies. 30. Enact "A Local Law in Relation to No Parking Signs on Plum Island Lane". 31. Enact "A Local Law in Relation to Stop Sign on Pike Street". 32.
