address the Town Board relating to agenda resolutions prior to their enactment; the public will
also be given time at the conclusion of the regularly scheduled business agenda to address the
Board on any given topic.

V~ RESOLUTIONS
Special Note: At the start of the Town Board Meeting the Supervisor will invite the public to
speak on the following resolutions.
1. Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute the necessary documents to make
application to the NYS Dept. of Criminal Justice Services to upgrade the computer system.
2. Authorize modification to the General Fund Part Town 1998 budget to appropriate grants
for the Erosion Mitigation Studies.
3. Declare computer display terminals as surplus equipment and authorize and direct the Town
Clerk to advertise it for sale.
4. Declare certain boat equipment as surplus and authorize and direct the Town Clerk to
advertise it for sale.
5. Authorize modification to the Marine Division 1999 budget for vehicle maintenance and
repair.
6. Grant permission to Deputy Town Clerk Linda J. Cooper to attend a Sporting License
Issuance Seminar at Stony Brook on April 22, 1999.
7. Authorize modification to the Solid Waste 1999 budget for radio equipment.
8. Authorize modification to the Solid Waste 1999 budget for lubricants.
9. Authorize modification to the Solid Waste 1999 budget for maintenance/supply of payloader.

for the Solid Waste District.

15. Approve extension of terms of office of Scenic Byway Committee and Advisory Committee.
16. Approve pilot program to lower price of wood chips, effective immediately until October 1,
1999, at which time it will be re-evaluated.
17. Authorize the Town Clerk to publish the East/West Fire Protection District Contract, and set
5:00 p.m., May 11, 1999, Southold Town Hall, as date and place for a public hearing.
18. Set Special Town Board Meeting for 1 1:00 a.m., April 20, 1999 for the purpose of
approving the County Route 48 Corridor Land Us~ S~udy DGEIS and conducting other
necessary business.
