does hereby elect to come under the provisions of Chapter3-~9;of~.the
Laws of 1960, entitle~ "An act to amend the Retirement and. So=i.al
Sec%trity Law, in relation to authorizing the provision 'of added pensions-
for-increased-take-home-pay and death benefits-for .officers;..an_~,~employ-
ees of participating~employees in the New ¥~Or.k~.~.Emp~yee~.~Retfre-
ment System," as presently or hereafter amended: and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVRD: that the percentum of the~.me~ber's.'~ompensa~ion
by which contributions shall be reduced, shall be FIVE percent~m, and
that the effective °date shall be the.payrol~beginning on.the,-.f~irst
day of January, 1966."
