Letter to Supervisor Cochran from Frank J. Blangiardo re thank you for voicing your
opposition to loss of Main Road parking in Cutchogue.
Copy of letter to Gov. Pataki from Suffolk County Fire Chiefs Council re opposition of
BOCA Code to replace NYS Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code.
Letter to Town Clerk Elizabeth Neville from Thomas Oelerich, NYS DOT, re installation of

V. RESOLUTIONS
Special Note: At the start of the Town Board Meeting the Supervisor will invite the public to
speak on the following resolutions.
1. Authorize modification to the General fund Whole Town 1999 budget to appropriate funds
from gifts and donations.

2a. Declare the Stacy and Michael Sheppard request for a change in zone to be an unlisted
action, pursuant to SEQRA and the Rules and Regulations set forth in NYCRR 617 et seq.
2b. Commence Lead Agency Coordination process regarding the SEQRA in the request of
Stacy and Michael Sheppard for a change of zone.
3. Authorize and direct the Town Clerk to transmit the petition of Stacy and Michael Sheppard
for a change of zone to the Southold Town Planning Board and the Suffolk County
Department of Planning.
Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 1999 budget to appropriate
proceeds from the sale of the Anti-Bias Task force Cookbook.
Authorize modification to the Solid Waste Management District 1999 budget to appropriate
the Reserve for Bonded Debt from the NYS DEC recycling grant.
Grant permission to Raymond Cleaves Post No. 861 American Legion, Mattituck, to use
Town roads for a Memorial Day Parade on May 31, 1999. ~ ~/~. ~
7. Grant permission to the Peconic Land Trust to offer hikes and rides at Downs Farm
Preserve and Fort Corchaug on June 12, 1999.
8. Appoint Lori Stoner as a temporary part-time mini-van driver at the Human Resource
Center.
Appoint Sabrina Crenshaw as part-time mini-van driver at the Human Resource Center.
Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute a lease agreement with Automotive
Rentals, Inc. for on 1999 Ford Crown Victoria.
Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to sign an agreement with the Family Service
League of Suffolk County to provide services for the Southold Youth Services Program.
12a. Declare Town's Shellfish Program, with the Suffolk County Marine Environmental Learning
Center, to be an unlisted action, pursuant to SEQRA and the Rules and Regulations set
forth in NYCRR 617 et seq, and declare the Town Board as Lead Agency.
12b. Determine that the Town's Shellfish Program, with the Suffolk County Marine
Environmental Learning Center, will have no significant adverse environmental impacts.

12c. Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to sign an agreement with the Suffolk County
Marine Environmental Learning Center to provide services as part of the Shellfish
Programs.
13. Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to sign agreements with the North Fork Housing
Alliance to implement 1999 Community Development Block Grant Programs.
14. Grant permission to Supervisor Cochran to execute a lease agreement with Jessie and
Frances Jackson for the parking area north of Main Road, Southold.
15. Rescind Resolution No. 12 of the April 13, 1999 Southold Town Board adopting the Police
Vehicle Towing Guidelines and Rates; and refer said Guidelines and Rates to Police Chief
Conway for input for a proposed local law to amend Chapter 92 Vehicles and Traffic of the
Southold Town Code.
16. Support elimination of the December 31, 2000 sunset provision for the Local Government
Records Management Improvement Fund in order to make said LGRMIF permanent.
17. Extend the acceptance of residential leaves and brush at the Southold Town Landfill, free of
charge, through May 31, 1999, per Supervisor Cochran.
Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 1999 budget to £acilitate a
transfer to the Capital Fund.
19. Authorize the closure of Love Lane, Mattituck, on Saturday, July 10, 1999 for the Annual
Mattituck Chamber of Commerce.
20. Resolution of appreciation to John Stack for his faithful service to Southold Town
Landmark Preservation Commission, and proclaiming him a member emeritus.
21. Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 1999 budget to appropriate grant
funds for the construction of the Southold/Greenport Tourism Booth.
22. Authorize and direct Town Clerk Elizabeth Neville to advertise for resumes for the position
of Provisional Planner.
23. Appoint Gina Rusch and Peter M. Strickland as members of the Southold Town Anti-bias
Task Force Committee.
24. A~ree to settle the case ofD¢irberger v. Town, ~t al., on the advice of Insurance Counsel.

Authorize and direct Town Clerk Elizabeth Neville to advertise for resumes for members of
the Landmark Preservation Commission.
Appoint Melissa Spiro as Senior Planner, effective immediately.
Appoint Paul A. Caminiti, Esq as Hearing Officer to consider disciplinary charges against a
Southold Town employee; and suspend said employee for not more than thirty days pending
the determination of'the charges
