RESOLUTIONS Special Note: At the start of the Town Board Meeting the Supervisor will invite the public to speak on the following resolutions. Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 1999 budget for office supplies in the Recreation Department. Appoint Patricia D. Garsik to the position of Senior Clerk-Typist in the Police Department. J~ Authorize modification to the General Fund Pan-Town 1999 budget for overtime earnings in the Planning Department.  Authorize the closure of Cases Lane, Cutchogue, on Saturday, October 2, 1999, during the Annual Harvest Fair on the Village Green. ~Set 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 28, 1999, Southold Town Hall, as time and place for a public hearing to hear citizen views on local housing and community development needs to be met in Community Development Block Grant Funds. Appoint Calvert Barrows Hall as a Member of the Fishers Island Harbor Committee. Authorize Island Group Administration to pay the medical bills of an employee, which bills were submitted by the provider more than 30 days after service was rendered. "~ Grant permission for members of the Southold Town Police Department to attend a One Day Dive Training Exercise on Wednesday, September 29, 1999 in New Castle, PA. 3 Authorize Supervisor Cochran and Deputy Supervisor Moore, acting singly, to have full power and authority to execute Funds Transfer Agreement with Fleet Bank. Grant permission to Karen McLaughlin and Carol Betty to attend "The Mind Matters Seminar" on September 24, 1999 in Smithtown. Grant permission to Barbara Rudder to attend the NYS Benefits Eligibility and Accounting System mandatory user training program November 22-23, 1999 in Albany. q~Set 5:00 Tuesday, September 28, 1999, Southold Town Hall, the time and for p.m., as place a public hearing on the question of the acquisition of the following parcels from The Peconic- Land Trust for open space preservation purposes: SCTM #1000-22-3-19, SCTM #1000-22- 3-20, SCTM #1000-22-3-21, and SCTM #1000-22-3-22 (north of Route 25, East Marion), comprising approximately 26 acres at a price of $900,000. Refer proposed zoning map changes to the Suffolk County Planning Commission and the Southold Town Planning Board and set public hearings for the proposed zone map changes. q~ Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute a contract for consulting services with Nelson, Pope & Voorhis. Authorize modification to Solid Waste Management District 1999 budget for computer hardware. Appoint Mel Phaff, Mary Jablonski, and Richard P. Boardman to the Southold Town Landmark Preservation Commission. VI.
