POLICY: At scheduled Town Board meetings, the attending public is encouraged to briefly
address the Town Board relating to agenda resolutions prior to their enactment; the public will
also be given time at the conclusion of the regularly scheduled business agenda to address the
Board on any given topic.

Department of the Army, NY District, Corps of Engineers, Notice of request of Frank and
Ingeborg Flynn to construct a pier, a hinged walk-ramp, and a float to provide a recreational
mooring facility off Shelter Island Sound, Town of Southold. Comments by January 7,
2000.
New York State Department of Environmental Conservation Notice of Complete
Application of Pindar Vineyards LLC to install a farm irrigation well 950' north of CR 48,
west of Horton Road, Town of Southold. Written comments by January 14, 2000.

Special Note: At the start of the Town Board Meeting the Supervisor will invite the public to
speak on the following resolutions,
Direct the Town Clerk to reject any and all bids for the Removal of Scrap Tires and
authorize and direct the Town Clerk to re-advertise for the Removal of Scrap Tires.
.Authorize and direct the Town Clerk to advertise for a member of the Planning Board.
Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute any and all necessary documents
relating to the Downtown Revitalization grand funds awarded to Mattituck Chamber.
L Direct the Town Clerk to reject all bids for supplying food for the 2000 calendar year to the
Southold Town Human Resource Center and direct the Town Clerk to re-advertise.

~0 Accept the bid of Arshamomaque Dairy to supply milk to the Southold Town Nutrition
Center for the 2000 calendar year.
Reappoint James C. Hudson to the Board of Ethics for three years, his term to expire on
December 31, 2002
Authorize and direct the Town Clerk to advertise for both Weekend Assistant Cook and
Weekend Kitchen Aide for the Southold Town Human Resource Center.
.~ Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute an agreement with the Suffolk County
Board of Elections for use o£the Recreation Center as a Polling Place for 2000 and 2001.
Increase the fee £or refrigerant-containing appliances at the landfill from $10 to $15.
Authorize Supervisor Cochran to execute an agreement to retain an appraisal and a surveyor
to determine fair market value for necessary easements of property surrounding the landfill.
1,,~) Reappoint Lydia Tortora as a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals for a five year term
of office, her term to expire on December 31, 2004.
~1~ Authorize the Town Attorney to sign the stipulation of discontinuance with regard to
Suffolk County v. Allen et al.
q~Set 5:10 p.m., January 18, 2000, Southold Town Hall, as time and place for a public hearing
on a proposed change in the Town Code changing a yield sign to a stop sign on Young's
Avenue intersection with Old North Road.
Authorize Supervisor Cochran to execute a contract with Sidney B. Bowne & Son, LLP to
provide building inspection services with respect to the Peconic Landing project.
