POLICY: At scheduled Town Board meetings, the attending public is encouraged to briefly address the Town Board relating to agenda resolutions prior to their enactment; the public will also be given time at the conclusion of the regularly scheduled business agenda to address the Board on any given topic. RESOLUTIONS Special Note: At the start of the Town Board Meeting the Supervisor will invite the public to speak on the following resolutions. 1. Authorize and direct the Town Clerk to advertise for bids for the purchase of one 2000 Dodge Dump Truck. 2 Authorize the Superintendent of Highways to purchase one 2000 Freightliner dump truck/sand truck and plow truck, all one unit, from the SC Contract. 3. Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 1999 budget for salaries and water bills for the beaches. 4. Accept the bid of Charles Greenblatt, Inc. to supply police uniforms for the calendar year 2000. 5. Accept the bid proposal of East End Cleaners for cleaning police uniforms for the calendar year 2000. 6. Grant permission to the Recreation Supervisor to attend the 60th Annual NYS Recreation & Park Society Conference April 2-5, 2000 in Ellenville, New York. 7. Declare list of surplus equipment and authorize and direct the Town Clerk to advertise its, sale by bid. 8. Authorize modification to the 1999 Solid Waste District budget to complete funding for the office trailer project. 9. Authorize modification to the General Fund 1999 budget for Harbor & Erosion Management. 10. Adopt the Southolfl Town Farm and Farmland Protection Strategy as a Town Policy. I 1. Approve appointment of Mark Doty as Deputy Emergency Coordinator for Fishers Island. 12. Authorize Electro Environmental to continue providing removal and transportation services at the Scavenger Waste Plant. 13. Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute an agreement of understanding with LIPA and KeySpan Energy Corporation relating to the replacement of transmission towers at the Landfill.
