M, POLICY: At scheduled Town Board meetings, the attending public is encouraged to briefly address the Town Board relating to agenda resolutions prior to their enactment; the public will also be given time at the conclusion of the regularly scheduled business agenda to address the Board on any given topic. RESOLUTIONS Special Note: At the start of the Town Board Meeting the Supervisor will invite the public to speak on the following resolutions. Separates James Rodney Douglass from his employment as Auto Mechanic III with the Town of Southold Authorize and direct the Town Clerk to re-advertise for bids for removal and transport of Scavenger Waste Treatment Facility. Authorize and direct the Town Clerk to advertise for bids to construct a new restroom facility at Kenny's Beach. Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 1999 budget for Human Services earnings, supplies, and services. Authorize modification to the General fund Whole Town 1999 budget for Police Communications Center upgrade. Reaffirm Southold Town's commitment against bias, bigotry, or prejudice. Request the enactment of Senate Bill S.2760 and Assembly Bill A.4833, "AN ACT to amend Chapter 246 of the laws of 1916 relating to the extermination of mosquitoes and the establishment of districts therefore, in relation to authorization for the amount of the annual appropriation by the Town of Southold for the Orient Mosquito District". Grant permission to the American Diabetes Association to use Town roads for their "Tour de Cure" cycling event on June I 1, 2000. Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to sign the 2000 Contract for Services with the Suffolk County Marine Environmental Learning Center for Shellfish Hatchery at Cedar Beach. Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to sign the 2000 Contract for' Services with the Family Service League of Suffolk County for the Youth Services Program. Authorize and direct the Town Clerk to advertise for bids for the purchase of 10,000 yards of Screened Sand, for ice control and highway maintenance for the Highway Department. "~ Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute any documents necessary to grant two easements to the City of New London, CT, on real property owned by Southold Town for the purpose of the Fishers Island Ferry District in New London. Roache to the position of laborer for the Southold Town Parks Department; effective February 17, 2000. Grant permission to members of the Southold Town Police Department to attend the Dive Rescue International/Dive Rescue 1 Training, sponsored by the Southold Fire Department, May 19-21, 2000. Authorize incremental increases for full time personnel of the Fishers Island Ferry District. Request the NYS DOT to re-evaluate the traffic light at Route 25 and New Suffolk Road in Cutchogue. Set 8:00 p.m., February 29, 2000, Southold Town Hall, as the time and place of a public hearing in the Matter of the Increase and Improvement of Facilities of the Southold Solid Waste Management District, pursuant to Section 202~b of the Town Law. 5~ Authorize appraisal and survey for Levin property. ~ Authorize second appraisal for McBride property.
