also be given time at the conclusion of the regularly scheduled business agenda to address the
Board on any given topic.

Special Note: At the start of the Town Board Meeting the Supervisor will invite the public to
speak on the following resolutions.
1. Engage the services of Albrecht, Viggiano, Zureck & Company, P.C, to conduct an audit of
the Cablevision Systems Long Island Corporation contract and authorize and direct
Supervisor Cochran to execute an engagement letter for said audit.
2. Authorize the closure of Case's Lane, Cutchogue, on Saturday, July 1, 2000 during the
Cutchogue-New Suffolk Historical Council's Annual Antique Show and Sale.
3. Approve the revised bond amount for the Minor Subdivision for North Bayview Associates
at Southold.

4. Grant permission to Det. Sgt. Martin Flatley to attend the FBI National Academy
Association Annual Training Conference July 16-19, 2000 in Rochester.
5. Accept, with regret, the resignation of Building Inspector Dennis Long.
6. Appoint, provisionally, Bruno Semon to the position of full-time Building Inspector.
7. Appoint staffto seasonal positions for the summer of 2000 in the Recreation Department.
8. Authorize Supervisor Cochran to execute an Application for Service with NYNEX Long
Distance Company d/b/a Bell Atlantic Business Services.
9. Authorize establishment of 2000 Consolidated Highway Improvement Program budget.
10. Accept the bid of Musco Lighting to supply and deliver a sports lighting system for the
Little League Field at Tasker Park.
11. Authorize and direct the Town Clerk to advertise for applications for the 2000 HOME
Downpayment Assistance Program.
12. Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 2000 budget to appropriate
increase in salary for the Assistant Town Attorney.
13. Appoint Elizabeth Muller and Brigid Thomas as Seasonal Laborers for the Fishers Island
Safe BTI Mosquito Control Program.
14. Create the salary scale for the position of pan-time Scale Operator.
15. Accept the resignation ofLynda Bisbee, pan-time food service worker for SNAP Program.
16. Appoint Charity Bobo and Patricia Volinski as SNAP Food Service Workers.
17. Amend Resolution No. 11, adopted May 11, 2000, by adding the effective date of May 16,
2000.
18. Set 8:00 p.m., June 20, 2000, Southold Town Hall, as the time and place for a public
hearing on "A Local Law in Relation to Restricted Truck Traffic on Love Lane" located in
Mattituck, New York.
19. Grant permission to Assessors Scott Russell and Darlin¢ Duffy to attend the Valuation of
Assisted Living Care Facilities Seminar on June 23, 2000 in Newburgh.

Authorize and direct the Town Attorney to draw upon the Ulico Casualty Company
Performance Bond for a major subdivision of Summit Estates, East Marion, if the
Continuance Certificate is not received by 4:00 p.m. on June 7, 2000.
Grant permission to Tritec Building Company, Inc. to use Town roads on June 17, 2000 for
Charity Bike Ride from Laurel to Greenport.
Authorize modification to the Public Safety Communications 2000 budget for
equipment/supplies.
Accept the bid of Edward Ehrbar, Inc. for supplying the Solid Waste District with a new
wheel loader.
Authorize modification to the Solid Waste District 2000 budget for trailer maintenance.
Authorize D&B to develop re-designed garbage and recyclables drop off facility for the
Collection Center.
Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute a contract with D&B for re-designed
garbage and recyclables drop off facility for the Collection Center.
Authorize modification to the Solid Waste District 2000 budget.
Authorize Supervisor Cochran to execute an agreement with Naval Surface Warfare Center
- Crane Division for night vision equipment.
Authorize and direct Island Group Administration, Inc. to pay the medical bill of an
employee, which bill was submitted by the provider more than 30 days ager services.
Request Suffolk County, through its Community Greenways Funds, to acquire a parcel of
property in partnership with and within the Town of Southold, for the development of a
fairground and sports playing fields.
Authorize a refund of Zoning Board of Appeals filing fee.
Authorize Supervisor Cochran to execute a lease agreement for municipal parking with
Rothman's Department Store.

33. Support the allocation of additional County funds for Open Space and Farmland Preserva-
tion on the East End, and request that the North Fork Environmental Council and signa-
tories on letter to the Suffolk County Legislature forward a letter supporting S0uthold's
previous requests for additional funding.
34. Grant leave of absence to Jessica Boger.
35. Set salary of part-time scale operator.
36. Authorize the Town Clerk to advertise for a part-time scale operator.
37. Authorize a budget modification to the General Fund Whole Town 2000 budget and Capital
Budget Vault Environmental Improvements Capital Project.
