Special Note: At the start of the Town Board Meeting the Supervisor will invite the public to
speak on the following resolutions.
1. Grant permission to the Southold Village Merchants Committee to use Town roads for their
"Home Town Parade" on July 4, 2000.
2. Grant permission to the Knights of Columbus, Marion Council No. 3852, to use Depot Lane
for a Pro Life March to the Shrine of the Unborn at Sacred Heart Cemetery on October 14,
2000.
3. Grant permission to Total Training, Inc. for the use of Town roads for the "North Fork
Triathlon" on July 16, 2000.
4. Authorize modification to the Community Preservation Fund 2000 budget to appropriate
funds for an appraisal.
5. Appoint Sean Bowden to the position of Student Intern in the Records Management
Department of the Office of the Town Clerk.
6. Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 2000 budget for equipment for
the Board of Assessors.
7. Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 2000 budget to appropriate funds
for D.A.R.E. Student Supplies.
8. Grant permission to Elizabeth Stathis to attend the NYS Library Conservation/Preservation
Program on Disaster Preparedness in Bellport on June 27, 2000.

Grant permission to the Southold Yacht Club, Inc. to use the Goose Creek Beach parking
lot for their listed regattas on July 8, 9, 22, and August 12, 2000.
10. Reappoint J. Reynolds duPont, Jr. and Geb Cook to serve on the Fishers Island Harbor
Committee for a five-year term of office.
11. Ratify the action of the Fishers Island Forty District Board of Commi~ioners approving the
final versions of the Easement Agreement as exc'~uted by the City Manager of the City of
New London. (out)
12. Appoint Matthew B. Lynch and Geoffrey Veitch as part-time deckhands for the Fishers
Island Ferry District.
13. Authorize compensated rates for personnel of the Fishers Island Ferry District.
14. Engage the services of Nelson, Pope & Voorhis to review the Part I Environmental
Assessment Form with respect to the application by Mattituck Sanitation to the NYSDEC
to establish a transfer station.
15. Enact "A Local Law in Relation to Parking on the Anchorage".
16. Authorize modification to the Solid Waste District 2000 budge~ for scalehouse supplies.
17. Authorize consolidation and merger of the services and budgets of Buildings & Grounds and
Parks & Beach Facilities in to "Buildings and Grounds".
18. Set 5:00 p.m., Thursday, July 6, 2000, Southold Town Hall, as the time and place for a
public heating on a proposed amendment to the Community Development Block Grant
Program Budget.
19. Authorize and direct Island Group Administration Inc. to pay the medical bill of an
employee, which bill was submitted by the provider more than 30 days after the services
were provided.
20. Appoint staff to recreational seasonal positions from June 3 through September 4, 2000.

23. Accept the proposal of Pirate's Cove Marine, F.I., for work to be done in West Harbor and
Hay Harbor.
24. Increase the amount that may be borrowed for fen3t district purposes to a sum not to exceed
five million dollars; and upon adoption it shall be subject to a permissive referendum by the
owners of taxable real property situate within the Fishers Island Ferry District.
25. Appoint Student Interns James P, eitman to Building Department and Chris Westgate to
Landmark Preservation Commission.
26. Appoint Diane Pavitch as a member of the Landmark Preservation Commission.
27. Appoint Craig Turner to the position of Planner.
28. Implement Greenways Program in connection with acquisition of active parklands/parcels.
29. Determine that adoption of the Water Supply Management and Water Protection Strategy
and Map would have no adverse effect on the environment.
30. Adopt Water Strategy as policy.
31. Adopt Water Map as policy.
32. Authorize Assistant Town Attorney to execute a Stipulation of Discontinnance in litigation
re Metropolitan Casualty et al.
33. Authorize and direct the Town Clerk to advertise for members of the Landmark
Preservation Commission.
34. Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 2000 budget for the Board of
Assessors.
35. Engage the services ofK.D. Geronimo Ltd. Real Estate Appraising & Consultants for
preparation of an appraisal.
36. Enact "A Local Law in Kelation to Restricted Track Traffic on Love Lane, Mattituck,
Chapter 92 of the Code of the Town of Southold".
