RESOLUTIONS Special Note: At the star~ of the Town Board Meeting tho~SuPervisor will invite the public to speak on the following resolutions. Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 2000 budget for the purchase of vans for Human Services. 2. Authorize modification of the Capital Budget for the Human Services Vans Capital Project. 3. Grant permission to Lt. Carlisle E. Cochran to attend the NY Division of Criminal Justice Services, Executive Management Conference, September 12~1'3, 2000 in Syracuse. 4. Set 5:00 p.m., Angust 29, 2000, Southold Town Hall, as the time and place for a public hearing on "A Local Law in Relation to Adding Stop Signs at Broadwater Drive, Cutchogue". $. Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute a Contract Budget Modification to the Community Development Block Grant Program Budget. Authorize the purchase from Suffolk County of certain parcels they are offering for sale, for municipal purposes. 7. Authorize modification to the Marine 2000 budget for radar equipment. Authorize modification to the Marine 2000 budget for radar equipment. Authorize and dire~-~ Island Group Administration to pay the past due medical bill of a retiree, which exists due to insurance transition and billing error. 10. Amend Resolution No. 23 of the July 18, 2000 Town Board Meeting to appoint $ohn B. Greene, Ralph O. Williams, and Margaret Murphy as members of the Landmark Preservation Commission. 11. Designate Linda Scarpinella, Personnel Assistant, as the liaison for the Town of Southold Alcohol and Drug Testing Policy. 12. Request Suffolk County acquisition of parcels for active recreation use under the County Greenways Program. 13. Request NYS DOT to do a traffic study on Oregon Road between Mill Lane and Bridge Lane for the purpose of lowering the speed limit. 14. Authorize mm:lification to the General Fund Whole Town 2000 budget for fire sprinkler installation at Town Hall, and Traffic Light at New Suffolk Lane and New Suffolk Road. 16. Accept the proposal of Apollo Fire Sprinkler Co., Inc. for fire sprinkler installation at Town Hall, and authorize Supervisor Cochran to execute said proposal. 17. Approve the proposal of Johnson Electrical Construction Corp. to install a traffic light at New Suffolk Avenue and New Suffolk Road, and authorize Supervisor Cochran to execute said proposal. 18. Authorize Supervisor Cochran to enter into a month-to-month contract with Trinity Transportation Corporation for hauling and disposal of municipal solid waste and C&D. 19. Appeal building permit issued for tower to the ZBA. 20. Rescind resolution &May 31, 1995 with regard to "Policy on Administration of Personnel Matters" and adopt "General Procedures to Fill an Employment Position" and Memorandum of New Employee Recommendation. 21. Reappoint members to Conservation Advisory Council. 22. Adjourn hearing on denial of FOIL request to 9:30 a.m., August 15, 2000. 23. Ratify and approve the terms of'the Town/PBA Memorandum of Agreement dated June 6, 2000. 24. Appoint Paul E. Zinger as a volunteer intern in the Justice Court. VI.__.~.
