POLICY: At scheduled Town Board meetings, the attending public is encouraged to briefly
address the Town Board relating to agenda resolutions prior to their enactment; the public will
also be given time at the conclusion of the regularly scheduled business agenda to address the
Board on any given topic.

Special Note: At the start of the Town Board Meeting the Supervisor will invite the public to
speak on the following resolutions.
1. Approval of the amount of the subdivision bond for Cove Beach Estates.
2. Authorize modification to the General Fund Part Town 2000 budget for miscellaneous
travel reimbursement for the Planning Department.
3. Grant permission to Cutchogue Fire Department to use Town roads for their annual
Halloween parade on October 31, 2000.
4. Rescind resolution #16 of the October 10, 2000 Town Board in order the reschedule the
public heating on the matter of the amendment of the amount of the bond for the payloader.
Set 8:05 p.m., Tuesday, November 14, 2000, Southold Town Hall, as the time and place for
a public hearing to amend the amount of the bond resolution for the payloader for the Solid
Waste Management District.
6. Grant permission to the Southold P.T.A. to use Town roads for their annual Halloween
parade on October 31, 2000.
7. Adopt "The Town of Southold Solid Waste Management District, Southold Town Landfill
Closure Project Management Plan" as the official "Project Management Plan".
8. Accept Subdivision Bond No. 0294693, in the amount of $339,100 for the completion of
roads and improvements in the major subdivision of Wildberry Fields, Soundview Avenue,
Southold.
9. Accept Subdivision Bond No. 0294690, in the amount of $404,861 for the completion of
roads and other improvements in the major subdivision of Rockcove Estates, off Sound
Drive, Greenport.
10. Authorize modification to the Capital Budget for the Seaview Trails Capital Project.
11. Authorize modification to the Solid Waste District 2000 budget for various overexpended
lines.
12. Set 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., Thursday, November 9, 2000, Southold Town Hall as the time
and place for a public hearing on the Preliminary Budget of the Town of Southold, 2001.

Grant permission to Building Inspector John Boufis to attend the NYS Department of State
Transitional Training in Yaphank October 31-November 2, and November 28-30.
Grant permission to Personnel Assistant Linda Scarpinella to attend the 2000 NYS Health
Insurance Program Regional Meetings on November 9 in Smithtown.
Appoint Peggylee Dzenkowski to the position of Detention Attendent at the Southold Town
Police Department.
Authorize Supervisor Cochran to execute amendment agreement for Nutrition Center.
Set price for the sale of"Trees of Southold".
Refund ZBA fee.
Retain Harvey Besunder, Esq. as Special Counsel in relation to capping and closing the
Landfill and other related Landfill purposes.
Retain Nelson, Pope & Voorhis for the purpose of doing all environmental review work in
relation to the capping and closing of the Landfill.
Authorize Supervisor Cochran to execute an agreement for computer interface at the Police
Department.
Reject any option to acquire the real property of Terry and decline to enforce any of the
covenants and restrictions contained in the easement.
Determine that the acquisition of development rights easements of Hubbard, SCTM it 1000-
55-5-11.1, 1000-55-5-11.2, 1000-55-5-11.3, 1000-55-5-11.4 will not significantly adversely
impact the environment.
Authorize the acquisition of development rights easements on certain parcels of Hubbard,
SCTM #1000-55-5-11.1, 1000-55-5-11.2, 1000-55-5-11.3, 1000-55-5-11.4.
Determine that the acquisition of development rights easements of Hubbard, SCTM #1000-
059-04-008, 1000-059-04-009, 1000-006-01-001.006 will not significantly adversely impact
the environment.
