address the Town Board relating to agenda resolutions prior to their enactment; the public will
also be given time at the conclusion of the regularly scheduled business agenda to address the
Board on any given topic.

Special Note: At the start of the Town Board Meeting the Supervisor will invite the public to
speak on the following resolutions.
1. Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute an agreement with the Suffolk County
Office for the Aging for the Community Services for the Elderly Social Adult Day Care
Program.
2, Grant permission to Human Services Director Venetia McKeighan to apply to the Suffolk
County Office for the Aging for Residential Repair Grant Funds.
3, Authorize modification to the General Fund Part Town 2000 budget for overdrawn line
items in the Building Department.
4, Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 2000 budget for D.AR.E.
promotional handouts.
5. Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 2000 budget for programming
work relating to the upgrade of the Fixed Assets System.
6. Support Rediscovering New York History and Culture Initiative.
Appoint Bruce W. DeFio as a full time Auto Mechanic III at the Solid Waste Management
District.
8. Authorize and direct Island Group Administration to pay the past due medical bill of an
employee, which was submitted late because of the transition in medical insurance carders.

Authorize and direct Supervisor Coehran to request a no-cost time extension for landfill
closure State Assistance Contract.
Appoint Bonnie Scott to the position of part-time Reservation Clerk for the Fishers Island
Ferry District.
Set incremental pay increases in salary or hourly wages for certain full-time personnel of
the Fishers Island Ferry District.
Grant a three-month extension of the performance bond for the completion of marls and
drainage improvements in the subdivision known as Summit Estates, Section I.
Authorize modification to the Solid Waste District 2000 budget to cover various expenses.
Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 2000 budget to cover expenses in
the Justice Court.
Determine that changing the zone of property on Route 48, SCTM #1000-074-04-009, will
not significantly adversely affect the environment.
Change the zone of property on Route 48, SCTM # 1000-074-04-009, from B to LB.
Determine that changing the zone of property on Route 48, SCTM #1000-074-04-010, will
not significantly adversely affect the environment.
Change the zone of property on Route 48, SCTM #1000~074-04-010, from B to LB.
Grant permission for Senior Assessment Assistant Claire Glew and Technical Coordinator
II John Sepenoski to attend a two-day seminar on January 8 and 2, 2001 on the Real
Property System Version 4 at SUNY Farmingdale.
Grant permission for Town Planner Valerie Scopaz and Transportation Commission
Chairman Neboysha Brashich to travel to Albany on December 7, 2000 to meet with the
Scenic Byways Commission.
Set 8:00 p.m., December 12, 2000, Southold Town Hall, as time and place for a public
heating on "A Local Law in Relation to adding a yield sign at Wood End way, Southold".
Authorize modification to the General Fund Part Town 2000 budget to cover the cost of
environmental planning consultants.

Authorize creation of a full-time Senior Justice Court Clerk position and earmark the
current Senior Justice Court Clerk to be changed to Justice Court Clerk only if and when
that position should become vacant.
Enact "A Local Law in Relation to changing an existing yield sign on North Sea Drive to a
stop sign".
Enact "A Local Law in Relation to installing an 'All Way Stop' sign at the intersection of
Cedar Beach Road, Paradise Point Road and Sunset Way".
Extend the due date for the receipt of bids for the construction of the landfill cap to
Wednesday, January 31, 2001 at 3:00 p.m.
